Helping Three Spirits break into the global martketplace

At Wallis we work with a breadth of clients within the food and drink sector – one of which is Three Spirit Drinks, the UK's first functional, non-alcoholic drinks company.

Founded in London in 2018 by a group including plant scientists, bartenders and herbalists, Three Spirit uses alchemy to create a unique sensory experience through its crafted blends, producing plant-based alcohol and hangover-free beverages.

Wallis Shipping supports Three Spirit’s international freight strategy by providing the brand with the most efficient, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly global logistics and distribution plan possible.

Three Spirit’s social media presence, particularly in the USA, has driven rapid and at times, sudden demand and overseas growth, with a viral TikTok resulting in a month’s worth of demand over one weekend.

David Press is Head of Operations for Three Spirits. He worked for Wallis Shipping for almost ten years during the 1990s, and in that time, he saw first-hand the knowledge and expertise of the Wallis team. David has gone on to carve a career in food and drinks logistics including roles at Muntons, Monster Energy, Britvic and Diageo.

Having been with Three Spirit for over two years and knowing the professionalism and support that Wallis provides to its customers, David chose to work with Wallis to assist with Three Spirit’s overseas distribution while expanding the brand globally due to Wallis’ family values and the quality of its customer service.

David says of why Three Spirit works with Wallis Shipping for its shipment needs, “Quite simply, they care. Wallis takes the time to understand what we need, have the depth of experience in the team and the global reach of resource giving them the capabilities to deliver solutions at a reasonable cost with me as the customer at the centre of their focus, and more than that, I trust them to do an excellent job.”

This partnership between Wallis Shipping and Three Spirit Drinks will ensure a consistent and strategic approach to shipping and logistics for the drinks company for years to come.

Jenna Morgan, Commercial Director at Wallis Shipping and the team always go the extra mile for their clients.

Commercial Director at Wallis Shipping, Jenna Morgan adds, “As a responsible shipper, we are always trying to better our customers’ supply chains, even if it means less profit for us in the long-run.

“For example, at times we have shipped just the empty bottles so they can be filled at different sites for efficiency and we are also helping Three Spirit find warehousing space in the US.

“Ultimately this is better for the planet, better for the supply chain, and better for everyone to produce, warehouse and sell stock in one location.”
